BMS College of Architecture, Bengaluru

BMS College of Architecture (BMSCA) was founded in 1967 under the BMS Educational Trust, which has operated educational institutions in Bengaluru since 1946. The architecture college is one of the trust's flagship institutions and has developed a strong reputation within the Karnataka architecture community over more than five decades of operation. NAAC A accreditation and CoA approval reflect institutional quality that has been sustained across different periods of the Bengaluru built environment's growth.

Admission is through the Karnataka state architecture counselling process, which allocates seats based on NATA scores. Karnataka domicile students get first access to government-aided seats. Management quota seats are available for candidates from other states. The 120-seat intake is relatively large for a government-aided school, which means the cohort has diverse regional and educational backgrounds, a richness that positively affects studio culture and peer learning.
